ABOUT  J.Carey

 Jeffrey Carey is a graduate of Lincoln University, the oldest historically black college in the Unites States. Lincoln University was home to the poet Langston Hughes, Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, as well as poet Gil-Scott Heron.

 

     At Lincoln University Jeffrey Carey was inspired by the Afrocentric Movement and the socio-political Hip-Hop that could be heard on the campus both in the classrooms as well as the dormitory. Carey credits writers Joel Augustus Rogers, Ivan Van Sertima, John G. Jackson, Cheikh Anta Diop, Charles S. Finch III, Ashra Kwesi, Elijah Muhammad, Martin Luther King Jr., Robert Bauval, Graham Hancock, John Anthony West, Robert Temple, Walter Cruttenden, George Lucas, George R.R. Martin, and J.R.R. Tolkien with helping to shape his world view. He also has discovered a growing interest in the New Age Movement of Aquarius, as well as the possibility of advanced extraterrestrial life forms.

 

     He graduated with a degree in History and Education in 1996. Jeffrey Carey is a retired public school history teacher of twenty years. He was also a frequent lecturer at Fort Dix Prison. He has been rewarded by the local NAACP, the Jack and Jill Club of America, as well as various Veterans groups.

 

    In 2004 he was a recipient of the State of New Jersey Governor’s Teacher Recognition Award. Jeffrey Carey is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. His intellectual pursuits are writing, traveling, lecturing, and blogging about the mystical obscured world of the occult, unexplained paranormal activity, and hidden symbolism.
